tip 关系 (guānxì) = relationship; 很好 (hěn hǎo) = very good. This can describe friends or family as well as partners. Example: 她是我的高中同学，我们关系很好 (tā shì wǒ de gāozhōng tóngxué, wǒmen guānxì hěn hǎo) = “She’s my high school classmate, and we’re very close.”
